Malibu Hardcore Pro Canvas Panels are perfectly prepared and ready for a plein air outing. The 5 oz premium Belgian linen canvas is primed with two coats of PVA sizing and two coats of alkyd oil for a primed weight of 12 oz and a distinct linen texture.
The Malibu has an engineered-wood rigid-core board. It’s mounted with a pH-neutral, non-yellowing permanent adhesive onto a durable vinyl backing, which stabilizes the panel, keeps it flat, and provides an impenetrable moisture barrier.
Acid-free, pH-balanced, and archival, the panels are perfect for oils, alkyds, and
water-based oils.
